Dental Clinic No. 5 is one of the first dental clinics in Moscow and for
60 years has been providing dental care to all those in need.
Dental Clinic No. 5 is located in the Western Administrative District of Moscow. On 7 floors of the building of the clinic there are treatment departments, in which qualified dental care is provided daily. The capacity of the clinic is 1300 visits per shift.
Dental Clinic No. 5 is equipped with modern equipment, including 51 dental units installed in medical departments, a computer tomograph, an orthopantomograph, and modern visiographs are installed in the X-ray diagnostic room.
The territory of Dental Clinic No. 5 is landscaped and pleases visitors with beautiful flower beds, an abundance of greenery and has repeatedly participated in the city competition "Moscow Courtyard" and became a winner. On the territory there is a parking lot for employees of the clinic, as well as parking spaces for vehicles for people with disabilities are provided.
Dental Clinic No. 5 is fully adapted for visitors with disabilities, including ramps for raising vehicles for patients with disabilities, touch tablets for the visually impaired, and the clinic also has specially equipped toilet rooms for people with disabilities.
In 2010, in the framework of the program “2010 is the year of equal opportunities”, Dental Clinic No. 5 was awarded the title “Clinic for All”.
Dental Clinic No. 5 provides medical dental care free of charge under the MHI (Compulsory Health Insurance) program for the adult population of the Western Administrative District of Moscow, attached to our clinic for service. It also provides paid services to Russian citizens who do not have a health insurance policy, to foreign citizens, as well as to everyone.

History of dental clinic number 5:
On October 30, 1959, in the city of Kuntsevo, Moscow Region, in a 600m2 premises prepared for a restaurant, the regional dental clinic No. 5 was opened under the supervision of Yu.K. Kuznetsova. The clinic staff consisted of graduates of the Moscow Institute of Mathematics and Information Technology, 1959, who lived mainly in a hostel. On 18 chairs, the therapeutic, surgical and orthopedic departments were deployed, as well as 2 visiting teams, which, traveling on two buses, provided all types of dental care to rural residents of the Moscow region. In 1962, for the first time in Russian dentistry at the polyclinic, children's preventive departments for the provision of dental care in schools and kindergartens were organized. The first head was Mary Borisovna Schrage. In 1970, at the clinic, an industrial department was organized, which was headed by Yu.P. Repnitsyn. At 18 enterprises in the Kuntsevo district, dental offices were organized, and at two hygiene rooms. The work of the department was aimed at carrying out preventive measures among workers of industrial enterprises. In 1978, 30 additional medical jobs were expanded on the additionally allocated area in the clinic, the dental laboratory was expanded, but the team dreamed of a new, separate clinic. In January 1987, Markin Yuri Valentinovich was appointed the chief physician of the clinic, and from that moment the collective's dream began to come true. Since 1987, work began on its design, and in 1990, construction began on a new clinic building, which is functioning to this day.
